I recently used Santa Barbara Paving Stone People to install pavers on a 32,000+ foot driveway in a PUD complex in Carpinteria where I serve on the board of directors. Doug the owner is the embodiment of patience. We couldn't quite decide on the style and color of the paving stone; so Doug, brought over sufficient quantity of pavers to visualize the overall effect and laid them out in our preferred pattern for three of the choices we thought might work.

 The installation couldn't have gone more smoothly and was completed well ahead of schedule, much to the gratitude of the thirty owners in our complex. The workmanship was top notch. I can't heap enough praise on Doug and his crew at Santa Barbara Paving Stone People to equal the great job they did for us.

We completed a large 1600-1700 sq feet project of pavers and artificial turf in the backyard and front yard. Doug, the owner, was professional and easy to work with.  The first time he came out, we discussed what we wanted.  He did measurements and came back with a quote right away that was better than the competitors. After we chose Doug, he met with us to choose the color and style of pavers that would go with our home and already existing paved driveway. That took a long time as my husband and I have no design eye but he was very patient and didn't rush us.  

On the day of the project, I had a mild panic attack and wanted to change the walkway up to the door and front step. Doug had the crew start in back and assured me we could make changes. He and I spent an hour sketching out a new walkway and front step that in the end took the house from alright to amazing curb appeal!

Also, the front of the house was graded unevenly but Doug and crew were able to make it all work. Some other issues came up that were problems from the factory but Doug took care of those quickly. We get compliments all the time on our house, and our kids love playing on the patio and artificial turf. I highly recommend Doug!
